Terry Fallis’ book, The Best Laid Plans, is the reading selection for Waterloo Region in 2010! This debut novel was originally self-published in 2007 and won the 2008 Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour. McClelland & Stewart then published The Best Laid Plans in September 2008. Terry Fallis also won the Gold Medal in the Independent Publisher Book Awards in the Regional Fiction- Canada East Category.
